MANDALAY
Black sand. Salt air. The whole world... just enough.
There was a house on the edge of Kingston called Mandalay. It sat on a black sand beach. The kind that holds the heat of the day long after the sun drops, where the city of Kingston dissolved into harbour water and the fishing village of Port Henderson was just a barefoot run up the shore. The garden grew thyme, rosemary, scotch bonnet and a rose stubborn enough to survive the salt. The surf came right up to the front door. A child played there. Naked in the water. Loved. Safe. Completely free. Mandalay doesn't exist anymore. But some places live on in the body. In the way certain combinations of salt and green and warm wood can pull you back somewhere so specific and so whole that for a moment, you are exactly that child again. Standing in the surf. Everything still ahead of you. Light it on quiet nights when you need the sea close again. Scent notes: Sicilian lemon · sea air · lotus blossom · violet · sandalwood · cedarwood

SKYLINE DRIVE
Up pon di hill. Above the noise.
Finally.
There's a road in Kingston that sits just above everything. Skyline Drive. It runs along a spine of the Blue Mountain foothills. High enough to see the whole city spread out below you, the harbour glittering in the distance, the heat and the hustle of Kingston reduced to a quiet hum. Close enough that you never really left. Far enough that it feels like another world entirely. Light Skyline Drive when the city won’t quiet down and you need that Kingston hilltop breeze to clear your head and remember the calm detachment of watching the city lights from far above the noise. Scent notes: Lemon · tea · lavender · basil · lily of the valley · coconut · cedarwood · amber

VITAMIN SEA
Deep water. No bottom. No fear.
Home.
My father put me in the sea before I had a word for it. A boat. Lime Cay. The crystal clear water just outside Kingston Harbour. My mother watching in horror as he lifted me over the side and let me go. I had barely left the womb — that first warm, weightless world — and here was another. My body remembered. I swam. Jamaica is an island. Water is not something we visit. It is something we come from, something we return to. For some of us, the deep end is not a threat. It is a release. Feet off the bottom. Nothing beneath you but fathoms of blue. That specific, irreplaceable feeling of being held by something vast and indifferent and somehow, completely safe. Not brave. Just home. This candle is for anyone who has ever felt that.Light it before a big leap. New job. New city. New love. When you need courage like that first plunge. Scent notes: Bergamot · orange · lavandin · geranium · lily of the valley · amber · sandalwood · musk
