ONE BAGGA TINGS [FEATURED CONTENT]

After one too many disappointing plates of expensive oxtail outta road, I went back to the version I trust: the one I make at home. This slow cooker oxtail uses a simple dry rub, Guinness, Scotch bonnet, thyme, butter beans and spinners, with no pressure cooker, no browning and no unnecessary fuss. Ten hours later, the meat is falling off the bone, the gravy is abundant, and the oxtail still tastes like oxtail—which, really, is the whole point.
